Justice System
The Cayuga Nation, while fully sovereign and independent from non-Native law, has a justice system comparable to that of the U.S. justice system and holds itself to the highest standards of professionalism and excellence. The Cayuga Nation, its governing council, and all Cayuga Nation justice system professionals are committed to maintaining and enforcing Cayuga Nation law for Native Americans within the boundaries of the Cayuga Nation’s 64,015-acre reservation in New York.
