The Cayuga Nation Police Department is the law enforcement agency of the Nation and is responsible for maintaining law and order on Nation properties and business enterprises; conducting investigations of criminal offenses committed by Native Americans on Nation lands; and protecting the Nation People, their visitors and guests. The Nation Police Department is also responsible for enforcing civil judgements and orders issued by the Nation Court. The department is composed of veteran law enforcement officers with the maturity and experience required of fair and effective law enforcement professionals.
